Reservations Terms and Conditions
- Please always quote clearly the tour code/number of the itinerary you have chosen, intended date for arrival and departure. All packages are subject to availability and not guaranteed until confirmed.
- Good physical and mental health is essential for the enjoyment of these active outdoor tours.
- Gorilla tracking will require a minimum of 4 month advance booking for permits. Note that Children under 12 years are not allowed to trek chimpanzees and children under 15 years are not allowed to track the Gorillas.
- A Gorilla permit guarantees you will track the gorillas after payment to their location but does not guarantee that the gorillas will be in plain sight, yet the permit is not in any way refundable or transferable as this is the policy of Uganda Wildlife Authority.
- All prices are quoted in US dollars and calculated at the prevailing exchange rate which is subject to change. An 80% deposit is required 15 weeks before the intended departure or time of the booking with the balance to be settled 30days prior to commencement of the tour.
- Should you or any member of your party be forced to cancel, you must advise us in writing. Full refund is to be made if cancellation is made in writing within 60 days of the booking, but with consideration of a 10% cancellation charge by the company.
Between 59 days and 30 days: Refund of 70% of the deposit is effective
Between 29 days and 15 days: Refund of 30% of the deposit is effective
Less than 15 days: No refund should be expected
- African Eco Adventures Ltd reserves the right to deduct all expenses incurred from money paid. No refunds will be made for any unused services, late arrival or no-show of any of the members of the tour.
- Payment may be done in advance by Bank transfer through Western Union or MoneyGram. The costs of international transactions are to be fully paid by the client.
- The price quotes are inclusive of all transportation as per the itinerary, park entrance fees, permits where applicable, drivers allowance and third party insurance. The rates are not inclusive of traveler Insurance (which should be purchased individually), local airport departure tax, visa fees, tips, sodas and alcoholic beverages, telephone calls, laundry and other personal expenses.
- Accommodation is based on a twin or double bedded room, tent or banda, with private bathroom where possible. Single rooms may be available with the payment of a supplement fee but can not always be guaranteed.
- v In the event you’re unable to travel due to extraordinary circumstances, we may transfer your booking to another party provided the arrangements remain the same and all concerned parties are willing to co-operate. The right will be retained to refuse any person from participating or continuing any tour if, in African Eco adventures Ltd’ opinion or in the opinion of any other person in authority, the person concerned behaves in such a way to cause or be likely to cause danger, hazard or inconvenience to any third party, damage to property or to environments and ecosystems. No refunds will be made and African Eco adventures Ltd shall not be liable for expenses incurred as a result of the termination.
- African Eco Adventures Ltd reserves the right to change and re-adjust the tour schedule, transportation, accommodation and services indicated in the itinerary in the event of unforeseen circumstances before arrival.
- You are advised to buy travel insurance through your Agent before coming to Uganda, but local evacuation coverage is available in the unlikely event of a medical emergency during the tour. Please request this at the time of booking. It is essential that any participant with a medical condition requiring regular treatment or which may be affected by vigorous activity, high altitude, heat, cold, other natural phenomenon, or particular foods, notifies us and the tour leaders, in writing in advance of travel.
- Complaints must be reported immediately to our representative and to the supplier of the service(s) in question, who will do their best to resolve any problem. If the problem is not solved to the client’s satisfaction the complaint should be reported in written form not later than 30 days after completion of the tour to an African Eco Adventures Ltd representative.
- Please note that it is the laws and regulations of the country in which services are provided which apply to your holiday arrangements and not those of your home country.
